A year ago today, I photographed Matt and Heather’s gorgeous Nonantum wedding. Yes, 1 year today! It all came together perfectly – beautiful bride + handsome groom, classic Maine wedding venue, and a killer reception. I loved shooting these two – so easy to work with! Happy Anniversary Heather and Matt! I hope these photos bring back a few laughs, tears, and unforgettable memories of your wedding day.

It’s that time of year again: an opportunity to reflect on moments and memories from 2015. Congratulations to all of my amazing wedding clients. You inspire me creatively and push me to be a better photographer. Your stories of love bring me to be closer to my own family and friends. Your celebrations remind me to live life to it’s fullest, today. As I look back on photos from this past year, I smile, reminiscing over the joy shared between my couples and those closest to them. I hope these images bring back fond memories, not only today, but many years down the road.
I look forward to another year of inspiration with my 2016 clients. I’m excited to work with new venues and vendors along the way. I’m eager to get back behind the camera as well. I anticipate blogging more consistently this year, focusing on not only weddings, but on personal projects as well. Winter is the perfect time to experiment, shoot new subjects, and remember why I was drawn to photography in the first place. Stay tuned for more details in the near future!
Here’s to a new year of laughter, love, and creativity

Views don’t get much better than the one we had at Amanda and Nick’s wedding in Brownfield, Maine. A spectacular sunset overlooking the white mountains at peak foliage.. insert happy couple in love and you have a photographer’s dream!
This was our first time shooting at Stone Mountain Arts Center, but we were very pleased with our experience. Friendly staff, a cool rustic space to shoot, and a kick ass party crowd made for a truly enjoyable day. We hope to return soon! If only the next couple is as easygoing and fun to work with as Amanda and Nick were!
Cheers!

Jessica and Dustin chose to marry at one of the most idyllic Maine wedding venues, the Spruce Point Inn. Although I’ve photographed many weddings in and around Boothbay Harbor, I had yet to shoot at this gorgeous location. Upon arrival, I was greeted by sunny skies and pleasant staff (led by rockstar, Carolyn LaRoche) who gave me a quick rundown of the property highlights. As most residents know, weather can change quickly in Maine. This was the case as clouds rolled in threatening showers during the outdoor ceremony. The brave couple decided to start a few minutes early and thankfully, everyone stayed dry. Light showers did speed up the formal group photos, but we were still able to get plenty of great shots along the gorgeous rocky coast. The nautical themed reception was highlighted by choreographed dances, lots of laughter, and a custom escort out of the venue by the bridal party!
Beautiful venue + fun, easy going couple in love = happy photographer. Congratulations Jess and Dustin!

Erika and Nick held nothing back for their Tupper Manor Wedding. A grand, elegant celebration with a party vibe, there was so much fun packed into one memorable day! Erika and I had worked together at Pierce Promotions and I was honored when she contacted me to photograph her wedding. When she told me the location, I was even more excited as I had yet to shoot a wedding at Tupper Manor. I had high expectations and was very impressed with everything from the décor, spacious rooms, floral arrangements, and friendly staff. The couple chose an incredibly talented Boston band, Radiance. From Chaka Khan to Bruno Mars, they did it all SO well! However, the real stars of the day were Erika and Nick. Their constant smiles said it all – so happy and so in love. From their exchange of vows through to the late night sparkler photos, they didn’t leave each others side. Congratulations Erika and Nick – it was a pleasure working with you! Best wishes on your journey together!
